Neurocognitive Lab

Within the Neurocognitive Lab, we offer access to three powerful software applications: Nexus 32, Vienna Test System, and Cogniplus. Nexus 32 is a comprehensive software suite designed for biofeedback and neurofeedback, enabling the monitoring and training of various physiological parameters. The Vienna Test System is a versatile tool for psychological and neuropsychological assessment, offering a wide range of standardized tests to evaluate cognitive functions. Cogniplus, on the other hand, focuses on cognitive training and rehabilitation, allowing for targeted interventions to improve cognitive skills and functions. These software applications provide our students and faculty members with the essential tools for conducting intricate neurocognitive studies and interventions.

In addition to our software resources, the Neurocognitive Lab is fully equipped for biophysiological research. We house a treadmill for the examination of physical aspects of cognition and movement. Furthermore, we have the means to measure blood pressure and sugar levels, facilitating a deeper understanding of how these factors interact with cognitive processes. To support these endeavours, we provide access to four computer systems with internet connectivity, enabling data analysis and collaboration. The Neurocognitive Lab is a place where innovation and discovery come together, providing an ideal environment for exploring the complexities of the human brain and its connection to the body.
